Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the relationship between HPV infection and cervical erosion and to explore the clinical effect of antivirus therapy, so as to provide references for clinical treatment of cervical erosion.
METHODS A total of 234 patients with cervical erosion who visited hospital from May 2013 to Jan. 2015 were selected, and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 117 cases in each group. Patients in control group received microwave treatment and in treatment group received IFN-α suppositories on the basis of control group. The clinical efficacies of the two groups were compared, and the data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0.
RESULTS The total effective rate of treatment group was 92.3%, significantly higher than 80.3% of control group (
P<0.05). The recurrence rate of treatment group was 10.3%, significantly lower than 26.5% of control group (
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION The levels and types of cervical erosion are closely related to the infection of HPV. IFN-α suppositories combined with microwave treatment has significant efficacy, with low recurrence rate.
