Abstract: With a growing impact on people's health, chronic wound has become one of the important health challenges in the global healthcare, and its health care costs also increase dramatically. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of chronic wounds has caused the general concern in related fields. To further deepen the understanding and provide new direction for clinical treatment, in this paper, the mechanisms of bacterial biofilm formation,the possible mechanism to effect chronic wounds healing, and the possible strategy to prevent and treat the disease has been mentioned.
