Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To analyze and study the relationship between serum matrix metalloproteinase (MMP),insulin-like growth factor (IGF) related indexes and cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection,in order to provide evidence for the diagnosis of cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection.
METHODS A total of 52 patients with cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection in hospital from Jan. 2014 to Aug. 2015 were selected as group A,52 patients with cerebral infarction were selected as group B,and 52 healthy persons with health examination were selected as group C. The serum MMP and IGF related indexes of group A,group B and group C were compared, then the serum detection results of group A with mild, moderate and severe pulmonary infection were compared too,and the relationship between serum MMP,IGF related indexes and cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection were analyzed by
logistic analysis.
RESULTS The serum MMP-1,MMP-2,MMP-3 and MMP-9 levels of group A were respectively (6.18±0.56)ng/ml,(18.59±1.76)ng/ml,(25.35±2.72)ng/ml and(168.82±12.39)ng/ml,and they were all higher than those of group B and group C,and the levels of group B were all higher than those of group C. The TIMP related indexes of group A were all higher than those of group B and group C too,and the levels of group B were all higher than those of group C. The IGF related indexes of group A were all lower than those of group B and group C,and the levels of group B were all lower than those of group C. The detection levels of group A with different infection degrees of pulmonary infection all had obvious differences too,and the serum MMP and IGF related indexes all had close relationship to cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection by
logistic analysis(
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION The serum MMP and IGF related indexes and cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection all show abnormal expression state,so those serum indexes all have close relationship to the disease.
