Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study transforaminal endoscopic minimally invasive surgical treatment of lumbar disc herniation in patients with postoperative infection, and analyze the rehabilitation situations.
METHODS A total of 60 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation who came to our hospital from Apr.2012 to Oct. 2013 were selected for the study, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group were treated with transforaminal mirror minimally invasive surgery, control group with common open surgery, and the patient's clinical parameters, quality of life and treatment efficacy were compared.
RESULTS The level of pain scores of patients in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(
P<0.05). The scores of buttocks numbness, lower limb numbness, lower limb atrophy and leg raising of observation group were significantly declined(
P<0.05). The indicators of quality of life of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group(
P<0.05). The clinical treatment effectiveness of observation group(93.4%) was better than that of control group (60.0%)(
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION Minimally invasive surgical treatment of lumbar disc herniation patients are better than the general open surgery, and it can lower infection rate and improve the level of symptoms and quality of life of patients.
