Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish rat burn wound model with
Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and investigate the effects of cryoprecipitate combined with sulfadiazine silver to burn wound, in order to provide theory evidence for clinical treatment on
P.aeruginosa infection in burn wound.
METHODS A total of 40 models of rat burn wound model with
P. aeruginosa infection were established, which were divided into treatment group and control group. After the routine debridement and disinfect, treatment group received cryoprecipitate coating on the wound combined oil gauze with sulfadiazine silver, but control group only received oil gauze with sulfadiazine silver. After 24h of model establishment, colony of bacteria were under observation, and 7d survival rate of rat were counted. Inflammatory factors level of IL-4,IL-10,TNF-α in different time points were detected by ELISA method.
RESULTS The rat models were established successfully and the fluorescence intensity of
P. aeruginosa were found. The fluorescence intensity of bacteria colony in treatment group(2.72±0.68) was significantly lower than that of control group(4.04±1.02) (
P<0.01).The count of bacteria colony in treatment group(2.79±0.75)×10
6 CFU/ml was significantly lower than that in control group(1.84±0.93)×10
9 CFU/ml (
P<0.05). After 7d of model established, survival rate of treatment group(90.00%) was significantly higher than that of control group(60.00%) (
P<0.05).The levels of IL-4,IL-10 and TNF-α of treatment group were significantly lower than those of control group (
P<0.05).The time curve of all factors in treatment group tended to be steady.
CONCLUSION The effect of cryoprecipitate is significant in improving infection of burn wound, and it could obviously control the infection of
P.aeruginosa.
