Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To understand the prevalence rates of nosocomial infections in a general hospital and analyze the change trend so as to formulate the effective intervention measures.
METHODS One day was picked up from each year from 2011 to 2015 so as to investigate the prevalence rate of nosocomial infections in hospitalized patients by means of bedside investigation combined with surveillance and management system for nosocomial infection.
RESULTS The average prevalence rate of nosocomial infections was 4.63% during the five years.Among the hospitalized patients with nosocomial infections, 46.24% had lower respiratory tract infections, 12.03% had urinary tract infections, and 11.47% had upper respiratory tract infections.Among the major species of pathogens causing the infections, the
Pseudomonas aeruginosa accounted for 16.61%, the
Acinetobacter baumannii accounted for 16.28%, the fungi accounted for 12.92%, the
Escherichia coli accounted for 8.39%, and the

CONCLUSION The overall situation of control of the nosocomial infections is good, and it is necessary to strengthen the control of risk factors for surgery-related nosocomial infections.
