Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the risk factors for urinary tract infection in patients with diabetic nephropathy uremia, and formulate and implement relevant measures to prevent urinary tract infection.
METHODS A total of 107 cases of patients with diabetic nephropathy uremia in our hospital from Jan. 2010 to Jan. 2016 were chosen as research objects. The urinary tract infection incidence, distribution of pathogens and clinical risk factors were investigated and analyzed.
RESULTS Totally 32 cases of patients occurred urinary tract infection in the 107 patients, and the infection rate was 29.91%. Totally 40 strains of pathogens were detected, and mainly were 26 strains of gram-negative bacteria, accounting for 62.50%. Age, hospitalization time, blood glucose, hemoglobin, serum albumin, complications species, indwelling catheter and antimicrobial drugs were the risk factors for patients with urinary tract infection (
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION The implementation of targeted prevention interventions and strategies in clinical practice according to these risk factors can reduce the incidence of infection.
