Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical risk factors of nosocomial infections in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and puts forward the intervention countermeasures.
METHODS A total of 98 cases of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus from Jan. 2011 to Jan. 2016 in hospital were selected. The incidence of infections in hospital was observed, the clinical risk factors were analyzed, and the countermeasures were put forward.
RESULTS In 98 patients, 40 patients had infections, with the infection rate of 40.81%. Infections occurred mainly in the respiratory tract, and the proportion was 35.00%(14/40). Among the risk factors of infections, the age, lupus related organs, C-reactive protein, serum albumin, hormone dosage, immune inhibitors, body temperature, length of stay, and white blood cells were significantly related(
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION There are many risk factors of nosocomial infections in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, and the corresponding clinical intervention countermeasure should be given to reduce the infection rate and improve the prognosis.
