Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To discuss the clinical effects and the influence on TNF-α and IL-6 of triple therapy of shenmai injection, trimetazidine and levocarnitine in patients with acute viral myocarditis (AVMC).
METHODS A total of 136 patients with AVMC from Jun. 2012 to May 2015 were randomly divided into observation group(n=68) and control group(n=68), patients in observation group were treated with triple therapy of shenmai injection, trimetazidine and levocarnitine, in control group were treated with trimetazidine and levocarnitine, then the clinical effects were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS The effective rate of observation group was 91.2%, which was significantly higher than 70.6% of control group(
P<0.01). The cardiac function recovery time and the total medication time of observation group were (8.8±1.2)d and (11.3±1.2)d, which were significantly shorter than (12.7±1.1)d and (15.2±1.4)d of control group(
P<0.01). After the treatment, TNF-α and IL-6 in observation group were significantly lower than before the treatment, but there was no obvious change in control group, and TNF-α and IL-6 of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group after the treatment(
P<0.01).
CONCLUSION Triple therapy of shenmai injection, trimetazidine and levocarnitine can reduce the myocardial injury caused by virus infection, reduce the inflammatory response, restore the heart function of patients, relieve the clinical symptoms and signs in the treatment of patients with AVMC, the curative effect is exact, and it is worthy of promotion.
