Abstract: OBJECTIVE To understand the status of nursing staff's cognition of safe injection and put forward the targeted measures aiming at exiting problems.METHODS The ' cognitive questionnaires of safe injection' were issued to 1 500 nursing staff in Mar 2016, the correct rates of clauses and subclauses were calculated, the scores of the clauses and subclauses were compared among different departments, working hours, and the nurses with different titles, and the statistical analysis was performed with the use of SPSS21.0 software.RESULTS Totally 1 500' cognitive questionnaires of safe injection' were recycled, with the recycle rate 100.0%.The total score of cognition of safe injection was (9.21±1.99)points among the nursing staff; there was significant difference in the score of cognition of safe injection among the departments, working hours, and the nurses with different titles (P＜0.05).The scores of the blood sampling room nurses in special wards and clinical laboratory were the highest; the scores of the nurses with no more than 3 years of working hours were the lowest; the longer the working hours, the higher the score of cognition of safe injection among the nurses; the higher the title, the higher the score of cognition of safe injection.CONCLUSION The nursing staff have insufficient acquisition of knowledge of safe injection, it is necessary for the hospitals administrators to grasp the key links of safe injection operations, conduct the personalized, targeted training for the nurses in different positions, further complete the safe injection systems and procedures, enhance the nursing staff's awareness of safe injection, and regulate the behaviors of safe injection.
