Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic effect of binghuang gelatum on diabetic foot ulcer infection wound healing, so as to provide references for clinical treatment of diabetic foot ulcer infection.
METHODS A total of 88 patients with diabetic foot ulcer infection from Dec. 2015 to Dec. 2016 were selected. According to the clinical treatment method, the patients were divided into study group and control group, with 44 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given sodium chloride, insulin and gentamicin gauze, and in study group were treated with binghuang gelatum. The pathogens, biochemical indexes, ulcer healing indexes and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed and compared.
RESULTS A total of 58 pathogens were detected in the infected patients of study group and 57 pathogens were detected in control group. Pathogens in both groups were mainly
Pseudomonas aeruginosa. There were no significant differences in the biochemical indexes between the two groups. The ulcer surface healing time, ulcer surface area and wound closure index in study group were (15.34±7.23) d, (2.06±0.34) cm2 and (97.45±3.13)%, which were significantly better than control group of (20.62±9.31) d, (4.01 ± 2.65) cm2 and (82.53±6.11)% (
P<0.05). The total effective rate of study group was 90.91%, which was significantly higher than 72.73% of control group (
P<0.05).
CONCLUSION Binghuang gelatum can effectively promote the healing of ulcer wounds in patients with diabetic foot and improve the effect of clinical comprehensive treatment.
