Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To improve the scientificity, safety, accuracy and timeliness of environmental hygiene monitoring work through the application and practice of information technology in hospital environmental hygiene monitoring.
METHODS The environmental hygiene monitoring data of a Grade III Class A hospital before (2017) and after (2018) using the environmental hygiene monitoring system were collected. Applying the environmental hygiene monitoring module of Xinglin information system, the closed-loop management was realized in the whole process of monitoring task, printing monitoring barcode, scanning and receiving samples, inquiring monitoring results, early warning and statistical monitoring results.
RESULTS Through the closed-loop management mode of environmental hygiene informationization, the qualified rate of hospital environmental hygiene monitoring was 99.46%, after the information system was applied in 2018, higher than 94.50% in 2017. The difference was significant (
P<0.001). The error rate of environmental hygiene monitoring reports was 0.10% in 2018 and 6.15% in 2017, with significant difference (
P<0.001).
CONCLUSION The application of information system makes closed-loop management mode possible for hospital environmental hygiene monitoring, standardizes the monitoring methods of hospital environmental hygiene, improves the accuracy of monitoring, and guarantees medical safety. It is worth popularizing.
