Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To analyze the personal occupational protection effect of a new type of composite fabric protective clothing in decontamination area of CSSD by comparing and testing its comprehensive performance.
METHODS From Oct 2019 to Dec 2020, CSSD decontamination area of Jiangjin District, Chongqing was taken as the research and test sites, and a batch of new composite fabric protective clothing of a domestic brand and disposable surgical clothing of a domestic brand were taken as the test samples. Firstly, the composite fabric protective clothing was tested for impermeability(100 test points), synthetic blood penetration(100 test points) and test of cleaning and disinfection effect(656 times), and the corresponding qualified and unqualified numbers were counted; secondly, the composite fabric protective clothing samples were set as the test group, and the disposable surgical clothing samples were set as the control group. The air permeability and comfort of the two types of protective clothing were tested in the decontamination area of the disinfection supply center(80 person times), and the differences of the dressing effects of the two types of protective clothing were statistically analyzed.
RESULTS The qualified rate of penetration test of the composite fabric protective clothing was 93.00%, the qualified rate of synthetic blood penetration test was 97.00%, the unqualified rate of damage and large-area wrinkle after washing was 3.51%, and the unqualified rate mainly occurred after washing for 30 times; 77 person times(96.25%) of the test group wore composite fabric protective clothing without obvious sweat and heat, while only 7 person times(8.75%) of the control group wore disposable surgical clothing, and there was significant difference in the data between the two groups(
P<0.01).
CONCLUSION The new type of composite fabric protective clothing can achieve more reliable effect in the decontamination area of CSSD, remarkably better than the traditional disposable surgical clothing; it is necessary to pay attention to the cleaning and disinfection after reuse of it so as to ensure its safety performance.
