Abstract:
Candida auris is a novel species of pathogenic multidrug-resistant
Candida and brings certain challenges to control of nosocomial infection due to its powerful viability on environmental surfaces. The effective disinfection is a major measure to control the spread of the pathogen. In China, however, there was no guideline for the disinfection of
C. auris. It is necessary to further carry out relevant studies and formulate scientific and effective measures for disinfection of
C. auris as quickly as possible so as to control the nosocomial infection. The etiological characteristics, epidemiological features, recommendations for disinfection in China and abroad, and disinfection-related studies were reviewed in the article so as to provide bases for formulating measures for disinfection of
C. auris.
