Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To analyze the application value of timely nursing round combined with whole-course refined psychological intervention in children with bronchopneumonia.
METHODS A total of 120 children with bronchopneumonia admitted to Xinxiang Central Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control and study group with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given whole-course refined psychological intervention, while the study group was given additional timely nursing round. The clinical symptoms, length of hospital stay (LOS), levels of inflammatory factors, negative emotion score, quality of life score, compliance and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS Compared with the study group, the control group had longer duration of disappearance of pulmonary rales, abnormal body temperature, shortness of breath, cough as well as long LOS (P < 0.05). The levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The negative emotion score of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the total compliance rate of the control group was 86.67%, which was lower than 98.33% of the study group (χ2=5.885, P=0.015). The total satisfaction rate of the control group was 85.00%, which was lower than 96.67% of the study group (χ2=4.904, P=0.026).
CONCLUSION Timely nursing round combined with whole-course refined psychological intervention in children with bronchopneumonia can effectively shorten the disappearance of lung rales, the recovery of body temperature, the disappearance of asthma and cough and the length of hospital stay and improve the negative emotions and quality of life of children, which has good clinical value.
