Abstract: Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is a common infectious disease of the female lower genital tract, clinically manifested as vulvar pruritus, burning sensation, vaginal pain and other symptoms.It often leads to depression, anxiety and dyspareunia, significantly impairing patients′ quality of life.However, there is currently no unified consensus on the specific pathogenesis or clinical treatment strategies for VVC.By reviewing relevant domestic and international literature and reports, this paper provides a brief overview of the pathogenesis of VVC and the efficacy of clinical treatment methods, aiming to offer valuable insights for future clinical treatment of VVC.
