OBJECTIVE Based on the major questions and confusions faced by hospitals in the tracking evaluation results in according to the "Management specification of air cleaning technique in hospitals" (WS/T 368), combined with the progress of air cleaning methods at home and abroad, this paper interprets the corresponding revisions. It elaborates the background of the development of WS/T 368, the significance of its implementation, and interprets the revisions to the framework, terminology and definitions, general requirements, management requirements and air cleaning methods for different departments in WS/T 368.
