Progress of research on inhibitory mechanism of inflammatory microenvironment on periodontal regeneration and its regulatory strategies

  • 摘要: 牙周炎作为一种常见的慢性炎症性疾病,不仅导致牙周组织的破坏,还通过复杂的炎症微环境影响全身健康。炎症微环境由多种免疫细胞、炎症因子和氧化应激组成,持续存在的炎症状态抑制了牙周组织的自我修复与再生。本文系统回顾了炎症微环境在牙周疾病中的作用机制,分析了促炎和抗炎因子的平衡,免疫细胞的极化,以及干细胞在炎症微环境中的功能抑制等关键因素。同时,探讨了当前治疗策略的局限性,强调开发新型的多维干预方案的重要性。通过提升对炎症微环境的理解与调控,未来有望提升牙周再生的成功率,为患者提供更有效的治疗方案。

     

    Abstract: Periodontitis, as a prevalent chronic inflammatory disease, not only causes destruction of periodontal tissues but also impacts systemic health through a complex inflammatory microenvironment. The inflammatory microenvironment consists of various immune cells, inflammatory factors and oxidative stress, with persistent inflammation inhibiting the self-repair and regeneration of periodontal tissues. This paper systematically reviews the mechanisms of the inflammatory microenvironment in periodontal diseases, analyzing key factors such as the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory factors, polarization of immune cells and functional inhibition of stem cells within the inflammatory microenvironment. Additionally, it discusses the limitations of current therapeutic strategies and emphasizes the importance of developing novel multidimensional intervention approaches. By enhancing the understanding and regulation of the inflammatory microenvironment, future advancements may improve the success rate of periodontal regeneration and provide more effective treatment plans for patients.
