222-nm紫外线消毒效果和生物安全性研究进展

Research progress in disinfection efficacy and biological safety of 222-nm ultraviolet light

  • 摘要: 222-nm紫外线照射作为一种新型紫外线消毒杀菌技术,可高效杀灭空气、物体表面的各类微生物的同时也展现出对人体良好的生物安全性。本文重点梳理介绍了近年来国内外222-nm短波紫外线相关的消毒效果、生物安全性及实际使用案例的进展情况,阐述了222-nm紫外线有望作为传统254-nm紫外线灯的替代升级品,拓展传统紫外线消毒技术的应用场景范围。222-nm紫外线在真实世界环境中的消毒效果和生物安全性研究结果一致性和可靠性评价仍需更多标准化实验来验证。

     

    Abstract: As a novel ultraviolet (UV) disinfection and sterilization technology, 222-nm UV irradiation can efficiently kill various microorganisms in the air and on object surfaces, while also demonstrating good biological safety for humans. This paper focuses on reviewing and introducing the recent progress at home and abroad regarding the disinfection efficacy, biological safety and practical application cases of 222-nm ultraviolet C. It elucidates that 222-nm UV has the potential to serve as an alternative and upgraded product to traditional 254-nm UV lights, expanding the range of application scenarios for traditional UV disinfection technologies. The consistency and reliability evaluation of the disinfection efficacy and biological safety of 222-nm UV in real-world environments still require more standardized experiments for verification.
