Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical distribution and drug resistance trend of mucus type
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, so as to provide reference to clinical reasonable selection of antimicrobial agents and the prevention and control of nosocomial infections.
METHODS The general information, disease status, antibiotic use and antibiotic resistance of non-repeated 135 mucinous type
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (mPa)infection cases which diagnosed by laboratory and clinical between 2011 and 2014 were retrospectively analyzed.
RESULTS Both the number of strains and the drug resistance rate showed an increasing trend for mPa, especially for the drug resistance rates of levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and ciprofloxacin, which was much higher than 40.00%. Imipenem and meropenem still were high sensitive, resistance rate below 3.00%. There was no resistant strain for polimixin.
CONCLUSION For the patients with mPa infection, dosing regimen should be timely adjustment according to the drug sensitivity test results in vitro, combined with the influence factors of biofilm in vivo.
