Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical characteristics of bacterial vaginosis patients complicated with other gynecological infectious diseases and observe the clinical therapeutic effects so as to provide guidance for clinical treatment.
METHODSThe clinical data of 616 patients with bacterial vaginosis who were treated in hospitals from Jan 2015 to Dec 2016 were retrospectively analyzed, the patients who were complicated with other gynecological infectious diseases were statistically analyzed, the bacterial vaginosis patients complicated with other gynecological infectious diseases were treated with tinidazole capsules combined with metronidazole suppositories, and the clinical therapeutic effects were observed.
RESULTSOf the 616 bacterial vaginosis patients, 62 were complicated with other gynecological infectious diseases, accounting for 10.06%. Among the pathogens isolated from vaginal secretions of the 616 patients,
Ureaplasma urealyticum was dominant, accounting for 32.1%. Totally 62 patients had mixed infections, 32.3% of whom had bacteria plus yeast infections. The patients complicated with pelvic inflammation were dominant among the bacterial vaginosis patients complicated with other gynecological infectious diseases, accounting for 48.4%. Among the patients who were treated with tinidazole capsules combined with metronidazole suppositories, 54 (87.1%) were cured, and 8 (12.9%) were improved.
CONCLUSIONThe incidence of other gynecological infectious diseases is high among the patients with bacterial vaginosis. It is necessary to strengthen early diagnosis and treatment, and tinidazole capsules combined with metronidazole suppositories can achieve satisfactory clinical effect on treatment of the patients with the mixed infection.
