Chinical laboratory value of ELISA in diagnosisof Treponema pallidum infection

OBJECTIVE To investigate the enzyme-linked immunodeficient assay（ELISA）test value method in the diagnosis of Treponema palliduminfection,so as to provide a reliable reference for the clinical diagnosis of T.pallidumi nfection.METHODS A total of 90 cases of suspected T.palliduminfection patients in our hospital from Jan.2013 to Dec.2015 were selected as research subjects,who were under ELISA examination and methyl red unheated serum test（TRUST）to get clinical findings as the gold final standard and the clinical value of ELISA was analyzed.RESULTS TRUST diagnosis accuracy rate was 83.3%,and ELISA diagnosis accuracy rate was95.6%,so ELISA diagnosis accuracy rate was significantly higher than TRUST（P＜0.05）.The sensitivity of TRUST check to T.palliduminfection was 83.3%,and specificity was 83.3%,which were lower than ELISA sensitivity 95.8% and specificity 94.4%,and the difference was significant（P＜0.05）.CONCLUSION The clinical application of ELISA to diagnosis T.palliduminfection has a good clinical effect,with higher diagnostic value.
