An analysis and predict on clinical surveillancedate of multidrug-resistance organism infection

  • OBJECTIVE To analyze the epidemic characteristics of multidrug resistant organisms,so as to provide medical evidence for prevention and control of multidrug-resistance organism(MDRO)infection.METHODS A total of 7443 samples from hospitalized patients were collected from Jan.2013 to Apr.2014.Automatic bacteria analyzer(VITEK2Compact,Merieux Company,France)was used to analyze the samples. And all data were analyzed by using SPSS17.0.RESULTS A total of 1769 strains of samples were positive from the 7443 strains of samples, and the positive rate was 23.77%.A total of 666 strains of MDRO were isolated and the detection rate was37.65%.The main MDRO was 320 strains of ESBLs producing Escherichia coli, accounting for 48.04%,followed by 152 strains of MDRO Acinetobacter baumanni, accounting for 22.08%.In different departments, there were obvious characters for MDRO,the A.baumannii accounted for 57.89% in ICU,and ESBLs producing E.coli accounted for 45.94%in surgery systems,MRSA with wound surface department of orthopaedics, burn department accounted for 48.84%.CONCLUSION The MDRO could be predicted by infection sites, the basic status of patients and departments.
