Risk factors and preventive measures of hospital infections in patients in the department of orthopedics

OBJECTIVE According to the risk factors of infections in operation patients in the department of orthopedics,the control measures of hospital infections in operation rooms were discussed,and the effective prevention and nursing measures were taken.METHODS The operation patients in the department of orthopedics in our hospital were selected,the risk factors of the infections were analyzed,and the effective nursing measures were put forward.RESULTS In 9 559 patients in department of orthopedics,39 patients had surgical site infections,and the infection rate was 0.04%.Cutting off the pathways of hospital infections in operation rooms could avoid the occurrence of infections.CONCLUSION Through strengthening strict implementation of aseptic operation,strict operation in infection prevention and control and control of the operation time,prevention of low temperature and other links,and strictly implementation of the measures related to the prevention of surgical infections,can effectively reduce the orthopedic surgical site infection rates.
