Establishment of assessment methods on prevention andcontrol work of blood and sexually transmitted diseases

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To provide a unified approach for the prevention and control of blood and sexually transmitted diseases in forces,and the scientific and effective prevention strategies for the troops.METHODS Firstly,the data of blood and sexually transmitted diseases and the existing research results were analyzed,and 19 assessment indicators of blood and sexually transmitted diseases were determined.Then rank-sum ratio method was used to assess the prevention and control works of blood and sexually transmitted disease in forces.Finally specific corrective recommendations were proposed based on the problems identified.RESULTS According to the assessment criteria for participation in the assessment of 10sub-file troops and ranking,the results showed that,D was the best troop;C,G,H,J,I,and E forces were better,but prevention and control work had to be improved;A,F,and B forces were poor.Corrective recommendations were put forward for the prevention and control work of the poor and less problematic troops.CONCLUSION The establishment of the comprehensive assessment method provides a basis for the unified assessment of the prevention and control work of blood and sexually transmitted diseases in army.The rank-sum ratio method clearly shows the situations of prevention and control works of the diseases,and conducive to timely find and rectify the existing problems.
