Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the species of pathogens causing nosocomial infections in patients with gynecological tumor, analyze the infection sites and observe the curative effects.METHODS A total of 950 patients with gynecological tumor who were treated in hospitals from Feb 2015 to Dec 2016 were recruited as the study objects. The incidence of nosocomial infections was observed, the species of pathogens causing the infections and the infection sites were statistically analyzed, the patients with nosocomial infections were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The observation group was treated with clotrimazole vaginal tablets combined with nedaplatin, while the control group was given intravenous drip of nedaplatin. The curative effects were compared between the two groups of patients.RESULTS The incidence of nosocomial infections of the patients was 9.47%. Among the pathogens causing the infections, the gram-negative bacteria accounted for 66.94%, the gram-positive bacteria 25.62%, the fungi 7.44%. Among the patients with the nosocomial infections, 35.56% had urinary tract infections, and 31.11% had surgical incision infections. The incidence rates of the symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge, genital itching, surgical incision swelling and vaginal mucosal congestion were reduced in the two groups of patients, which were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION The gram-negative bacteria are dominant among the pathogens causing the nosocomial infections in the patients with gynecological tumor, the urinary tract and surgical incision are the major infection sites, the antibiotics combined with clotrimazole vaginal tablets may achieve remarkable curative effect, and it is worthy to be promoted in the hospital.
