Application of inflammatory biomarkers diagnosis of diabetic foot infection and assesment of prognosis

Abstract
Diabetic foot infection is a common complication in patients with diabetic foot and is often caused by a combination of factors. At present, the diagnosis of this disease is mainly based on clinical symptoms and signs, but in recent years, it has been found that inflammatory biological markers could be used for auxiliary diagnosis of diabetic foot infection or assessment of prognosis. To further understand the research status of these inflammatory biomarkers in the application of diabetic foot infections, relevant literatures both at home and abroad were searched to analyze the common causes of the diabetic foot infections, the application of inflammatory biomarkers in diabetic foot infections was mainly discussed so as to provide a corresponding basis for clinical prevention and diagnosis of diabetic foot infection as well as assessment of prognosis.
