Targeted mornitoring of nosocomial infection of multi-drug resistant bacteria in general hospitals from 2018 to 2020

  • OBJECTIVE To understand the preventive and control effect of multi-department cooperative closed-loop management on multidrug resistant bacteria, so as to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection. METHODS The target monitoring of multidrug resistance bacteria in the hospital was carried out, and the early warning patients were intervened by the departments according to the division of responsibilities. From 2018 to 2020, the multidrug-resistant bacteria detected in the hospital were carbapenem-resistant Escherichia coli(CR-Eco), carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CR-KP), carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(CR-PA), carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CR-AB), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) and Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci(VRE) were used to analyze the variation trends of detection rate and nosocomial infection rate. SPSS 18.0 software was used for statistical analysis. RESULTS From 2018 to 2020, the nosocomial infection rate of multidrug-resistant bacteria showed a downward trend year by year(χ2= 89.998, P<0.05). The nosocomial infection rates of CR-AB(χ2=17.067, P<0.001), CE-PA(χ2=12.025, P<0.002), CR-KP(χ2=43.258, P<0.001) and CR-Eco(χ2=109.126, P<0.001) decreased year by year, with significant differences. The detection rates of CR-AB(χ2=55.876, P<0.001), CR-PA(χ2=52.662, P<0.001) and VRE(χ2=10.925, P<0.001) decreased year by year, and the difference was significant. CONCLUSION Through the targeted monitoring of multi-drug resistant bacteria nosocomial infection, guiding the hospital to build an effective multi department system for multi drug resistant bacteria infection prevention and control can effectively reduce the incidence of multi drug resistant bacteria nosocomial infection.
