Advances in research on application of artificial intelligence in monitoring of hospital-associated infections

  • In recent years, the application of artificial intelligence technology in the medical field has become increasingly widespread, with particularly broad prospects for its application in hospital-associated infection management. This paper reviews the application of artificial intelligence in monitoring of hospital-associated infection cases, prevention and control behavior monitoring, environmental disinfection and monitoring, infection prediction and risk assessment. Through precise prediction, real-time monitoring and optimized management, artificial intelligence has significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of hospital-associated infection management. However, its application still faces challenges such as data privacy and security, insufficient model interpretability and ethical and legal issues. In the future, it is necessary to further optimize data management mechanisms, enhance model transparency, strengthen multidisciplinary cooperation, and promote the deep integration of technology and clinical practice to ensure the safe and reliable application of artificial intelligence in hospital-associated infection management.
