Construction of biodefense capability indicator system for hospital mobile medical service nursing staffbased on modular theory

  • OBJECTIVE  To analyze current biosafety issues and construct a biodefense capability indicator system for hospital mobile medical service nursing staff.
METHODS  Based on the newly released biosafety guidelines and the intelligentization trends in future warfare, a modular theory framework was adopted to establish an indicator system through literature review, expert interviews and the Delphi method.
RESULTS  The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of expert interview questionnaires were 88.24% and 100.00%, respectively. The expert authority coefficients were 0.907 and 0.910, respectively. The coordination coefficients of the indicators in the two rounds of interviews ranged from 0.123 to 0.214 and 0.231 to 0.271, respectively (P<0.05). A biodefense capability indicator system for mobile medical service nursing staff was ultimately formed, including 4 first-level indicators, 13 second-level indicators and 51 third-level indicators.
CONCLUSIONS  The constructed indicator system is scientific and reliable, providing a biodefense capability evaluation tool for nursing staff undertaking major hospital tasks, which is conducive to the overall improvement of biodefense capabilities.
